If you look at Malaysia’s universities in 2025, you might think the answer is obvious. They’re ranking higher.

Malaysia is doing something unusual with its schools. Starting in 2027, the Ministry of Education plans to introduce Bahasa Isyarat Malaysia (BIM) that is Malaysian Sign Language and a Technology and Digital subject.
