Malaysia is doing something unusual with its schools. Starting in 2027, the Ministry of Education plans to introduce Bahasa Isyarat Malaysia (BIM) that is Malaysian Sign Language and a Technology and Digital subject.

Every few years someone tries to fix education with a bold new idea. And in Malaysia the latest idea is surprisingly simple. Put two teachers in one classroom. It sounds almost too obvious.
